Adult, Two Children Struck By Vehicle

Police are investigating after three pedestrians, including two children, were struck by a vehicle in Belle River.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday around noon, a white Ford Taurus was turning from Belle River Rd. onto Notre Dame St. when the vehicle struck an adult and two children standing together near the corner of the intersection.

All three pedestrians were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford, a 21-year-old woman, was treated and released at the scene.

Police say an investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
