Police Lay Drug, Firearm Charges

A 56-year-old Windsor man is charged with drug and firearm related offences.

An active investigation by Windsor police in the city led officers to obtaining a search warrant for an apartment in the 800-block of Pillette Rd. which was executed at 1:30am on July 28, 2016.

Police report seizing crystal meth, cocaine, marijuana plants, as well as a loaded sawed off shotgun , an air rifle pellet gun, a digital scale and a cell phone.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
