East Windsor Subdivision Seeking Approval

A new 55-lot subdivision in east Riverside is one step closer to approval.

The developer is proposing 55 single detached dwellings between Little River Rd. and Riverside Dr. west of Bellagio. Ward Councillor Irek Kusmierczyk says it's a positive sign for the city.

A group of nearby residents spoke against the proposal due to concerns of a bald eagle family living in the area.

However, the developer has been given full approval to move forward with the build by the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The proposed draft plan of subdivision still needs to go before council for official approval.
