Around 1:30 police responded to a call and found a male who was allegedly stabbed during an altercation with another male in the alley.
The suspect fled the scene but later turned himself in.
The victim was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police are canvassing the area for additional evidence and witnesses.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
