UPDATE: Police Investigate Stabbing Overnight

A Windsor teen is charged with attempted murder after his sister suffered a stab wound early Wednesday morning.

Police were called to Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus around 2:30am after a teenaged girl came in with multiple stab wounds. Her injuries were serious but not considered life threatening.

Investigators spoke with a family member who brought the girl into the emergency department. Their investigation resulted in allegations that her brother stabbed her during an incident at their home in the 1500-block of Parkside Crt.

The family member brought the brother, who is also a teen, to the hospital and he was arrested.

The investigation continues. Police are in the process of getting a search warrant to search their home.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
