Police Investigating Assault

Windsor police are searching for two suspects after a fight in the 1600-block of Hall Ave. earlier this month.

Officers report attending the scene on August 7 at about 7:15pm where they spoke with two people. The officers were told two men had gotten out of a black GMC Suburban and picked a fight after the driver was yelled at to slow down.

According to police, after the fight was over, the two men from the SUV followed one of the victims onto the porch of a home on the street and began assaulting him. The other victim came back to help and was also assaulted.

Both victims were treated for their injuries.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his 20s standing 6'1" to 6'2", 200 lbs, muscular, short hair and a chest tattoo. He was last seen wearing red shorts, red shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black man in his 20s standing about 5'11" with a lean build and short hair. He was last seen wearing red shoes and shorts.

Police say the vehicle believed to be involved is a 1999 black GMC Suburban with the licence plate AN 32436.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
