Suspect Sought In Jewellery Theft

Police are looking for a suspect in a jewelry robbery at Tecumseh Mall.

The Windsor Police Service reports officers were called to People's Jewellers at the mall on August 1 around 3:15pm to investigate a theft complaint.

Police report a man switched out a necklace for a similar item while the employee wasn't looking.

The suspect is thought to have left the mall in a white pick-up truck.

The WPS has released a photo of the suspect.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
