The County of Essex says it's reached a tentative deal with the union that represents its road maintenance staff.
A release from the county says it came to an agreement Friday after several hours of negotiations with Teamsters Local 879.
Details of the agreement won't be released until after both parties ratify it.
"We believe this is a fair and reasonable deal and one that will allow for the sustainability and continued provision of road maintenance services," says Chief Administrative Officer Brian Gregg.
