Goose Control Referred to Budget

A decision on a city-wide goose control program has been referred to budget.

Windsor city councillors want more information about what different control methods will cost before making any final decisions.

A report before council Monday night included many options for council to consider include modifying the landscape and behaviour modification.

For many years the city has been hearing complaints about the number of geese and amount of excrement found in city parks, particularly along the waterfront.

A report will come back to council in time for budget deliberations in December.
