Fire Officials Investigate Motel Kitchen Fire

Damage is pegged at around $15,000 following a small kitchen fire at a Windsor motel.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service reported the fire at the I Sleep Inn at 2763 Howard Ave., on Wednesday around 5:40pm.

Fire officials say no one was injured in the blaze.

An investigator has attended the scene and the fire is believed to be accidental.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
