Rollover Crash Kills Belle River Man

In the second of two fatal crashes in Lakeshore this past weekend, Ontario Provincial Police say a 27-year-old man died.

The OPP, Lakeshore fire officials and paramedics were called to a single vehicle rollover crash on County Rd. 22 east of Belle River around 8:40pm Monday.

A grey car was northbound on County Rd. 22, between County Rd. 2 and County Rd. 42, when it left the road and rolled several times.

The lone occupant, Michael Marchand, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Early Monday morning on Morris Rd., 67-year-old George Willms died in a separate crash.
