Thunderstorm Warning Ends

Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm warning for the Windsor-Essex region.

They say the storm has weakened and is not expected to become severe.

The warning was issued at 3:02pm after the thunderstorm was located near the Detroit River just southwest of Windsor and was tracking eastward at about 40km/h.

Environment Canada will continue to update alerts and asks that severe weather be reported by email to storm. ontario@ec.gca.ca or through Twitter by tweeting reports with the hashtag #ONStorm.
