UPDATE: Stolen Dog Recovered

The Windsor-Essex County Humane Society's found Sado, safe and sound.

The one-year-old boxer-type dog was stolen from an indoor-outdoor run area in the shelter on Sunday afternoon.

Executive Director Melanie Coulter at the humane society say she was found by a women in a park, who recognized Sado from pictures in media reports.

Coulter figures the thieves let Sado go after reading reports that the dog was microchipped.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
