Large Donation Helping WE Care For Kids

The pool at the WE Care For Kids House is completely paid for, thanks to a $100,000 donation from the Do Good Divas.

Board Member at the WE Care For Kids Foundation Marla Spidalieri says children at the WE Care For Kids House and John McGiveny Centre have been benefitting from the facility for about two years now.

"It's something I don't think [WE Care For Kids] ever dreamed of when they had that little house [off Prince Rd.] a few years ago," she adds. "It was just about six bedrooms and kind of falling apart, now they have this beautiful facility with a pool and a gym."

Spidalieri says the pool is used for both recreation and therapy, and the kids love it.
