(BlackburnNews.com photo)A 73-year-old Essex woman faces charges after a car hit a cyclist in the Town of Essex.
The Ontario Provincial Police say a 53-year-old Quebec woman was riding her bike across the intersection of Talbot Rd. and Maidstone Ave. around 12:30pm Tuesday when she was struck by a silver Dodge.
The Dodge then hit a hydro pole.
The cyclist suffered minor injuries, and the driver is charged with careless driving.
