Police Respond To Report Of Man With Gun

Police are investigating after a man was seen carrying a long gun in LaSalle.

The LaSalle Police Service says on Thursday around 6:30pm, the man was seen going into the bush area at the end of Mayfair Ave. near Sacred Heart Dr., carrying the long gun wrapped in a blanket.

Police responded and cordoned off the area to attempt to find the individual.

At around 8pm, two men in their early 20s were located in the wooded area. Police say the pair were making a YouTube video with a number of realistic-looking gun replicas.

The two men have been released from police custody at this time and no charges have been laid.

Police says an investigation is still ongoing.
