Frost Advisory In Effect

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Windsor-Leamington-Essex County.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to the reach freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

Areas located adjacent to the Great Lakes and Lake St. Clair might be a little milder.

Crops could be damaged in some frost-prone areas, according to Environment Canada, and it is suggested that plants be covered up.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
