Police Nab Suspects In Attempted Robbery At Crash

Windsor police have two men in custody after an attempted robbery early Tuesday morning.

Police say a man was getting into his vehicle in the parking lot at Caesars Windsor when two other men approached him and asked for a cigarette. When the first man said no, they left but then returned and demanded money.

The one suspect had a knife.

By this time, the victim was in his car and refused to hand over any money, so the suspects left in a gold-coloured car.

A short time later, police were called to a crash at the corner of Crawford Ave. and Tecumseh Rd. W involving a gold-coloured car and a transport truck.

There was an altercation at the scene of the accident.

Police arrested the two men in the car.
