Police Searching For Accused In Sex Assault Case

A 28-year-old Windsor man, facing sexual assault charges, is wanted by police after failing to show up for his court date.

Hussein Dirie was initially arrested back in June, after investigators learned about a man luring teenage girls to his apartment using Facebook.

Two girls, ages 13 and 15, have come forward in the case.

Dirie was expected in court this week, and now a bench warrant has been issued.

He faces two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.

Anyone with information on Dirie's whereabouts is asked to call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
