Police Seize Large Quantities Of Drugs

Windsor police officers seized over $84,000 of drugs after responding to a suspicious vehicle call.

The vehicle was parked with it's running lights on partially in the middle of Menard St. in east Windsor on Wednesday morning around 5:30 am.

Officers observed a male driver slumped over the steering wheel and drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Police seized 3.7 g of marijuana worth around $1740, 111 g of crack cocaine and 733 g of cocaine worth around $84,000.

The 32-year-old suspect is charged with impaired care and control of a motor vehicle by drug, possession of marijuana , and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
