Well Monitoring Continues

The Municipality of Leamington continues to monitor an abandoned well on a residential property that is emitting gases.

The well, which is located outside of a residence on Robson Rd. near Malibu Dr., is emitting a mixture of gases and caused the evacuation of two residences Tuesday evening.

Monitoring and repair equipment is being utilized in the area and may cause a change in traffic patterns.

The municipality has issued a burning ban in the immediate area as a precaution.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
