UPDATE: Consulate Crash Turns Fatal

The driver of a pick-up truck which hit the Mexican Consulate in Leamington has succumbed to his injuries.

The OPP say Ronald Graham, 84, of Leamington was driving westbound on County Rd. 33 around 5:30pm on Sunday when his vehicle left the road, ran through a bean field, and hit the Consulate building in the 300-block of Hwy. 77.

The investigation continues, as officers are still working to figure out what caused the crash.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
