UPDATE: Charges After Vehicle Hits Bank

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after a car slammed into a bank overnight.

Police got the call around 2:45am Tuesday that a vehicle had hit the southeast corner of the building which houses the TD Canada Trust Bank branch in the 5700-block of Wyandotte St. E at Reedmere Rd.  The car hit the glass entrance.

A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the damage to the building is descripted as minor.

The driver is now charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
