Arrest Made After Pharmacy Robbed At Knifepoint

One man is in police custody after a Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy was robbed at knifepoint in Windsor's west end.

The Windsor Police Service says on Monday around 4:45pm, a man entered the Shoppers on Wyandotte St. W at Campbell Ave., and threatened the pharmacy staff with a knife. The man then filled a backpack with narcotics and left the store.

Police say a male suspect was arrested without incident a short time later on College Ave. near Josephine Ave., and is now facing robbery related charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
