Police Investigating Swastika Vandalism

The Windsor Police Service's Morality Unit is looking into a possible hate crime in city's southwest end.

Officers were called to a home in the 2900-block of Riviera Dr. Friday, around 9:30am, to find foul language and swastika symbols written on a driveway and garage door.

More graffiti was found on a second home along the same block.

Police then spoke with a man in the area who they believed was the suspect.

A 63-year-old man is now in custody facing a charge of mischief, but could be facing more charges if the incident is deemed a hate crime.
