UPDATE: Ministry Investigating Deadly Fall

A man who fell through a skylight at Ventra Plastics in Windsor has died.

The Vollmer employee was rushed to Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus Thursday afternoon around 1:10pm, suffering what was described as "severe trauma."

The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident, and has issued two orders so far: one, to obtain documents of the employee's training and employment records, and another not to disturb the scene of the fall.

Ministry officials can't say how long the investigation might take.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
