Naval Reservist Charged With Sexual Assault

The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service has charged a member of the naval reserve in Windsor with one count of sexual assault.

The charge against an Ordinary Seaman is related to an incident at CFB Halifax in April 2016 and involves another member of the reserve.

"The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service investigates all allegations of sexual assault in a thorough and impartial manner," says Lieutenant-Colonel Francis Bolduc.

The Sexual Offence Response Team is a specially trained investigative team within the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service.
