UPDATE: Howard Ave. Back Open In Amherstburg

The Amherstburg Police Service says Howard Ave., between County Rd. 8 and North Side Rd. in Amherstburg, is now open to traffic after a two-vehicle crash.

A minivan collided with a transport truck just after 10am, Wednesday.

The female driver of the minivan had to be extricated by firefighters, while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.

The extent of the woman's injuries is unknown at this time.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
