Suspect Identified In Weekend Homicide

Windsor police say 32-year-old Jordan Ganvichoff from Windsor has been charged with first degree murder, in connection with a downtown homicide.

Police were called to an apartment building on Ouellette Ave. Saturday morning around 7am. Inside, police found a female and two males, one of which did not have vital signs.

The 35-year-old male was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death has yet to be released.

Ganvichoff has been remanded into custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
