UPDATE: Eastbound Hwy. 401 Reopens After Fatal Crash

The eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 at the EC Row are open again after a fatal crash.

The Ontario Provincial Police was called to the scene around 10:40pm after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop.

They are looking for a light brown van or SUV. The vehicle was seen in the area at the time of the collision and officers believe the driver may be able to help with their investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
