Express Partner With Lancers For Clash

The Windsor Express and University of Windsor Lancers are teaming up for the fourth annual Clash at the Colosseum.

On Wednesday February 8, the Windsor Express will play a new National Basketball League franchise the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans at Caesars Windsor. Earlier that same day the men's and women's Lancers basketball teams will play Wilfred Laurier.

Express CEO Dartis Willis says it's a good partnership that will produce some good basketball.

"We're going to whoop-up on the whole two cities of Kitchener-Waterloo, so get ready for that. We have not lost a game at the casino, and we don't plan on it," says Willis.

Coach for the Windsor Lancer's men's basketball team Chris Oliver says the Windsor Express have had a huge impact on the university team and growing basketball in the city.

He says this will be a once in a lifetime experience for many of these players.

"It's about the impact it will have beyond just this event, in terms of our players remembering this experience for the rest of their lives as something unique and different," says Oliver.

Tickets for the event are already on sale. The purchase of one ticket will give access to all three basketball games.
