UPDATE: Hwy. 401 Reopened In Windsor

Police have reopened Hwy. 401 in Windsor after winter weather conditions caused a number of collisions.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported on Thursday around 4pm, that the eastbound lanes of the highway had been closed between Ojibway Pkwy. and Hwy. 3. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the collisions.

The eastbound lanes were fully reopened to traffic just before 7pm.

Police are urging drivers to slow down during adverse weather.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
