Police Investigate Suspected Shooting

Windsor police are investigating a suspected shooting that happened in the city's west-end early Wednesday morning.

Officers reported to hospital around 1:30am to speak with an 18-year-old woman who appeared to have been shot. Her injury isn't expected to be deadly.

It's believed the teen suffered the injury around 1am at an apartment in the 3100-block of Sandwich St.

Police say the victim isn't being totally cooperative with their investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
