OPP Find Driver In Fatal Hwy. 401 Accident

The Ontario Provincial Police is expected to have more to say soon after an email stating it has found the driver involved in a fatal accident on Hwy. 401 in Windsor earlier this month.

Back on December 6, police say a 44-year-old Windsor man had fallen from the Lambton St./Grand Marais Rd.W overpass before he was hit by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes.

On Thursday, investigators released a photo of the vehicle they believe struck and killed the man.  BlackburnNews.com has been asked to remove the photo from the website.

An appeal was also put out to area auto body shops in case the vehicle was brought in for repair.

The email from OPP Constable Jim Root was sent out just before 8am Friday.
