Back on December 15, a woman awoke at 4am to find a strange man in her home on Fischer Cres. in Leamington.
When she confronted him, he took off on foot with her purse.
Police immediately began a search of the neighbourhood and found the suspect two hours later.
During their investigation, they discovered a number of other thefts in the county, allegedly committed by the same man.
