Cause Determined in Windsor House Fire

Careless smoking is believed to be the cause of a Windsor house fire.

Windsor Fire and Rescue were called to a home in the 1500 block of Hickory Rd Thursday night.  The fire apparently started in the upper unit of the house.  Light smoke was reported in the lower unit of the dwelling.

One person had been rescued and taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.

Windsor Fire reported Saturday that the fire was caused by "careless use of smoking materials", though a damage estimate was not readily available.
