Youth Needing Assistance This Holiday

The Windsor Youth Centre is hoping its latest campaign can get it through the holiday season and part of 2017.

It says a donation of $30 can provide comprehensive services to one youth for a full day. That includes a meal, some take-away food, assistance with housing, transportation and education.

"Most homeless youth have suffered years of trauma, abuse, neglect or family conflict. We can give them hope to move forward with their lives," says Tamara Kowalska, WYC Executive Director.

Donations to the WYC's "HOPE" campaign can be mailed to 1247 Wyandotte St. E, Windsor, ON N9A 3K6 or dropped off at the same location between 5pm and 10pm Monday to Saturday. To arrange drop off outside of operating hours, please call 519-563-9271.
