Spitfires Shot Down By Rangers

The Kitchener Rangers edged the Windsor Spitfires 2-1 at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.

Kitchener drew first blood with a goal 7:35 into the first period, and then increased their lead to 2-0 with a goal early in the second.

Jeremiah Addison scored for Windsor in the third, with just under five minutes left in the game, but the Rangers held onto their lead for the win.

Despite the loss, the Spitfires outshot the Rangers 35-18.

The Spitfires are at home again on Saturday when they take on the Flint Firebirds at 1:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
