Police Identify Owner Of Lost Cash

One person is already have a brighter new year after being reunited with an envelope of cash that had been lost in Windsor just before Christmas.

The Windsor Police Service says a good Samaritan found the envelope in the parking lot of the Chapters at Devonshire Mall, back on December 22.  The envelope was given to police who issued a message to the public, asking the owner to come forward.

On January 5, police say they were able to locate the rightful owner and return the money.

Police are thanking the public for their help in getting the word out through social media.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
