WEEDC To Develop New Strategic Plan

The first priority for the Windsor Essex Economic Development Corporation in 2017 is setting its new strategic direction.

Executive Director Stephen MacKenzie has been on the job for just over four months and he says it's a good time to revaluate the direction of the corporation.

"Making sure we're on the same page, making sure we identify all the assets and resources we have to implement that and then implementing it," says MacKenzie.

He says the session will not just be about setting goals but about implementing the right programs to achieve those goals.

The board and WEEDC staff will meet on January 11, 2017 at the Essex Golf and Country Club to establish the new plan moving forward.
