Walker Rd. Lottery Ticket Pays Off

Windsor resident Gerry Willsie says 2017 is off to a fantastic start after winning $100,000 in an Encore lottery draw.

He bought the winning ticket at the end of December at P-Jay's Video and Variety on Walker Rd.

Willsie says the first thing he did when he found out about the win was go home and tell his wife.

"I showed her the ticket and she just assumed that I hadn't won anything," he says. "Then, I showed her the validation slip and she was confused. When I showed her the prize amount, she was stunned."

Willsie says he'll be spending the winnings on home renovations, a big tv and his kids and grandchildren.
