Leamington's Online Tourism Presence Gets Refresh

Leamington has a new website, promoting its unique position on the 42nd parallel.

The site at onthe42.com allows local businesses and event coordinators to promote themselves through ad space and detailed listings.

"Onthe42.com is an excellent way to market Leamington as a top-of-mind tourist destination," says Mayor John Paterson.

There's also an events platform, in which the town is encouraging residents to upload multiple photos and event videos.

"Tourism is Leamington’s fourth largest sector and our focus on the tourism brand and events like the Sip & Savour Experience show our commitment to continued economic growth in Leamington," says Paterson.

The mayor has also announced that Chef Lynn Crawford of Food Network fame will be joining the Sip & Savour festivities on August 19 this year.
