High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Leamington has a new website, promoting its unique position on the 42nd parallel.
The site at <a href="http://www.onthe42.com/" target="_blank">onthe42.com</a> allows local businesses and event coordinators to promote themselves through ad space and detailed listings.
"Onthe42.com is an excellent way to market Leamington as a top-of-mind tourist destination," says Mayor John Paterson.
There's also an events platform, in which the town is encouraging residents to upload multiple photos and event videos.
"Tourism is Leamington’s fourth largest sector and our focus on the tourism brand and events like the Sip &amp; Savour Experience show our commitment to continued economic growth in Leamington," says Paterson.
The mayor has also announced that Chef Lynn Crawford of Food Network fame will be joining the Sip &amp; Savour festivities on August 19 this year.
