Vacation In Plans For Lottery Winner

A 46-year-old Leamington woman plans to put $50,000 to good use after claiming her prize from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

Robin Matteis won on the December 17 Ontario 49 draw.

"I made a list of the things I would like to do with this win," she says. "I will pay off some bills, buy a new bed for myself, get some new tires for my car, fix up my motorcycle and treat myself to a vacation. I've always wanted to go to Ireland, but I may go somewhere warm with my son."

Matteis says she's been playing the same numbers for a long time and always checks her lottery tickets on Fridays.
