A Safe Environment To Make Internet Transactions In Kingsville

The Ontario Provincial Police is expanding "Project Safe Trade", this time in Kingsville.

OPP detachments in Lakeshore and Tecumseh are already offering a safe place for people to carry out transactions made on the Internet.

While police will not assist in negotiating civil property transactions, they will be on hand if there is a municipal bylaw, provincial or criminal violation.

As of February 2, there will be a spot designated a Project Safe Trade zone at the Kingsville OPP detachment.

Tecumseh OPP has been promoting Project Safe Trade since last April, and Lakeshore OPP came on board last November.
