Express Fall To A's 97-92

The Windsor Express dropped a 97-92 decision to the Orangeville A's at the WFCU Centre on Wednesday.

The Express took a three point advantage in the first quarter and extended it to a 45-37 lead by halftime. A Orangeville gained the lead mid way through the third frame, but Windsor fought back to regain a 71-66 lead going into the fourth.

The Express couldn't keep the A's at bay in the final frame, with Orangeville holding a five point lead at the buzzer.

Warren Ward led Windsor with 21 points and six rebounds, while DeAndre Thomas put up 17 points and two rebounds. Nick Evans, Juan Pattillo and Wally Ellenson all had 12 points.

The loss moves Windsor's record to 4-10, which is their worst start in franchise history.

The Express will take on the Moncton Miracles next on Friday at the WFCU Centre. Tip off is at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
