Express Derail Titans 93-90

The Windsor Express beat the Kitchener Waterloo Titans 93-90 in a close fought game on Wednesday.

The Express kicked things off by taking a 31-16 lead in the first quarter, and holding onto a 43-39 advantage at halftime.

The two teams battled in the third with the Titans scoring a one point lead going into the final frame. The Express trailed the Titans 81-75 with just over seven minutes left in the game, but Windsor fought back to tie things up at 85 points a piece at the 3:49 mark.

The Express retook the lead in the final minutes for a close win by three points.

The Express will take on the Orangeville A's on Saturday at the Athlete Institute. Tip off is at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
