Students Want More Accessibility For the Deaf

A sign language class is being held at the University of Windsor, in order to raise awareness about challenges facing those who are deaf.

Vice President of Programs with Delta Zeta Sorority Kiera Royle is helping to organize the event, and says she'd like to create a more accessible Windsor-Essex for those who can't hear.

The second annual American Sign Language class runs Saturday, from 1pm to 4pm, in the Oak Room of Vanier Hall at the University of Windsor.

The sorority is also collecting donations for the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
