UPDATE: Police Seek Witnesses To Fiery Amherstburg Crash

Police are looking for witnesses to a fiery crash in Amherstburg.

Around 3:15pm Monday, the driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Impala lost control and rolled on the 4th Concession between Middle Side Rd. and North Side Rd. The vehicle ended up in a farmer's field and caught fire.

Investigators say four 16-year-old boys had escaped the vehicle before it caught fire, but one suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a hospital in Detroit. The other three suffered minor injuries.

Police expect to lay charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
