UPDATE: Arson Confirmed At Vacant Pub

Investigators have wrapped up their investigation after a weekend fire at a vacant downtown Windsor pub, and they say it was arson.

The fire was intentionally set at the rear of the building at 52 Chatham St. W.

The building used to house an English-style pub called the Pour House.  It's been vacant since closing down a few years ago, and nobody was in the building when the fire broke out just before 2:30pm Sunday.

Investigators from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal were called in, and on Monday, officials announced the fire was suspicious.

Damage is estimated at $75,000.
