Worker Injured In Fall At Southwestern Manufacturing

Police are investigating after a worker was injured in a fall at Southwestern Manufacturing in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on Wednesday around 7:20pm, officers responded to the industrial business at 715 Sprucewood Ave. after the worker fell around 40 ft off of a piece of equipment.

The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown, but police say it is believed to have been accidental.

The worker was rushed to hospital but the extent of the employee's injuries is unknown.

Police say the Ministry of Labour has been contacted and will be attending the scene.
